Is there hope? How does the future look? Is it bleak or bright? It depends on your perspective. To the ordinary observer, the horizon may be dark. On the other hand, to the kneeling Christian the future is filled with rays of sunshine.
Have the clouds of complacency darkened our spiritual outlook? Such gloom will discourage the ones who look to themselves for the solution.

Above every cloud is a clear sky. Our Savior broke through the mirky clouds of life with warm radiant beams of sunlight. Bright rays lighten the way of transformation of the individual. It is not for us to bask in the warmth of comfort, but they are for our light. The kind of light to show us the way of sharing the saving hope of the world–the message of the cross. It is there the penalty of our sin was purchased.

What are we to do with this new profound freedom? There are two unchangeable things in the Bible. The first, Jesus, our Savior, is always the same. He has not changed. The book of Hebrews says it best. He is the same yesterday, and today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8). Times are in a continual state of change. Every Godly intervention is a change of how certain things are achieved. Jesus is our only door through the gates of Pearl (Revelation 21:21). No one can enter heaven without having Jesus as their Savior (Acts 4:10-12).

The second unchangeable fact is the message for the church. We are to go into all the world and share the good news (Matthew 28:18-20, Mark 16:15, Luke 24:47, John 20:21, Acts 1:8). Obedience to this command is God’s method of reaching our generation for Jesus. Our Lord commanded us to reach others for him. We do it by sharing God’s word. Every person was born in sin, and sinners we are. Our only solution is to trust Jesus as our Savior.

So how do we do it? If someone, in front of you, is ready to receive the Lord, how should they pray? The following is a guide for you to show a loved one, friend, or stranger the simple, sincere prayer to enter heaven’s gate. The prayer below is ONLY a guide or suggestion!
Dear Lord Jesus, I know I am a sinner. I want to go to heaven when I die. I know if I die the way that I am now, I will descend into hell. I’m asking You to come into my heart and wash all my sins away. Thank you, Jesus, for forgiving me of all my sins and giving me eternal life with you forever. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
